Another example of versatility is how it is combined with different types of buildings. Bitumen roof tiles can be used both for residential buildings (bungalow, ranch, homestead, gable facade, villas, tiny house, castle, chateau, dome, ...) and for recreation (chalets, garden sheds, tree houses, playhouses, summer cottages, ...).

Roof tiles are made of fiberglass, which is a waterproof material. European quality standards provide for the use of this fiber due to its high tensile strength and resistance to tearing by nails. During production fiberglass is impregnated with bitumen. This process provides a very stable roofing material. To finish the tile, it is sprinkled with colored granules.

Replacement of traditional bitumen with modified APP bitumen gives IKO even higher quality properties. Therefore, in the future we will mark these bituminous tiles with the CE mark and the PLUS mark. Thus, you will get improved quality for the same price. The PLUS line offered by the IKO company is a great advantage that you can take advantage of!
