In the early 70s, the company's engineering and technical staff created a revolutionary technology that allows the industrial production of glasses, wine glasses and goblets of such quality that could previously only be achieved by hand. This created a new segment of the table glass market - a product with high quality and exquisite design. The Michelangelo Masterpiece jug from Luigi Bormioli is made of ultra-pure and durable glass in accordance with ISO/PAS IWA 8:2009, free of lead and heavy metals (Sparx).
