The Italian company Bormioli Luigi was founded by engineer Luigi Bormioli in 1946 and initially specialized in the production of glass for the perfume industry. In the early 70s, the company's engineering and technical staff created a revolutionary technology that allows the industrial production of glasses, wine glasses and goblets of such quality that could previously only be achieved by hand. Thanks to this, a new segment of the table glass market has appeared, a product of high quality and exquisite design. The glasses of the Tentazioni series are designed to preserve the entire aromatic structure of wine, softening the volatile alcoholic component. This allows the aromas to unfold in all their glory, enhancing the pleasure of tasting.
The glass is round in shape to create a unique aromatic "ring" effect that prevents interference between volatile alcohol and the aromas of the wine.
And that's not all. The narrow top of the glass allows aromatic molecules to be held in the free space for a long time without escaping. This enhances the fruity taste of the wine, while acidic and bitter components are minimized.
