Material description:
Mastic is a completely ready-to-use material consisting of a mixture of petroleum bitumens modified with synthetic rubber, mineral fillers and an organic solvent. After drying, it forms a coating with a wide range of operating temperatures, which significantly increases the service life of the protected structures.
Method of application:
It is recommended to apply the mastic to the treated surface with brushes, a spatula or a pouring method with leveling.
The application temperature range is from -20°C to +40°C.
Before using the mastic, the working surface is treated with a primer.
At low ambient temperatures, for ease of application, it is recommended to keep the mastic in a warm room for at least 12 hours or dilute it with an organic solvent to the required consistency, but not more than 8% by weight.
