  • Sealing joints in concrete and reinforced concrete: used to fill expansion and contraction joints in monolithic structures, bridges and tunnels.
  • Working with stonework: Ideal for sealing joints in brick, granite or marble surfaces.
  • Sealing of tanks: Used in water storage tanks, including drinking water, due to its safety and resistance to moisture.
  • Windows and facades: Used to seal aluminum frames, sandwich panels and double-glazed windows, providing protection against leaks and heat loss.
  • Internal works: Used for processing seams in bathrooms, kitchens and other rooms with high humidity.

Application recommendations

To achieve optimal results, it is important to properly prepare the surface and follow the application technology. HYPERSEAL EXPERT 150 easy to use but requires attention to detail to ensure maximum efficiency.

  • Surface preparation: The surface must be dry, clean, free of dust, grease, rust or old sealant residues. Use mechanical methods to remove contaminants, avoiding aggressive chemicals.
  • Cleaning seams: Before applying the sealant, the seams must be thoroughly cleaned of organic and mechanical impurities.
  • Using a tourniquet: To adjust the seam depth (optimally 3–5 mm or half the width of the seam) use a polyethylene foam or polystyrene foam harness of the appropriate diameter.
  • Causing: The sealant is applied using a mechanical or pneumatic gun. For small jobs, a spatula can be used. Fill the joint evenly, avoiding voids.
  • Smoothing: After application, smooth the surface of the sealant with a water-dampened tool for 6–8 minutesto avoid film formation.

Our experience shows that using a pneumatic gun significantly speeds up the application process, especially when working with large areas, for example, when sealing the facades of multi-storey buildings. This allows for uniform filling of joints and reduces material consumption.

Cleaning tools

  • Avoiding contact: Avoid contact with exposed skin. In case of contact, wash affected area immediately with soap and water.

Usage restrictions

Despite its versatility, HYPERSEAL EXPERT 150 has certain limitations that must be taken into account to ensure the durability of the seams and operational safety.

  • Avoiding direct sunlight: The sealant is not recommended for surfaces that are constantly exposed to ultraviolet light, as this may lead to degradation of the material.
  • Dry surfaces: Do not apply sealant to wet or chemically active substrates to avoid adhesion failure.
  • Lack of staining: Polyurethane sealant cannot be painted, so choose a gray color that will blend in with most surfaces.
