Cellular polycarbonate wins in terms of price, but in terms of other parameters (service life, wear resistance, preservation of appearance) it is clearly inferior to monolithic.

Monolithic polycarbonate of the Israeli company "Polygal" is the world leader in the market of this material. Monolithic polycarbonate of this company is produced under two brands:

• "Monogal" with a 20-year warranty and an increased level of protection against UV radiation:
• "Hummingbird" - economy version with a 12-year warranty. The difference in price is from 15 to 18%.

Advantages of monolithic polycarbonate:

• The weight is much lower compared to glass - 2.5 times, but the indicators of strength, ease of installation and sound protection are much higher;
• Flexibility that allows for wider use (canopies, frames, complex structures);
• Heat resistance - the ability to use at temperatures up to +120 degrees Celsius;
• Resistance to contact with detergents, technical oils, salt solutions;
• Variety of flowers;
• Very good thermal insulation qualities (2.5 times higher than glass).

Application of monolithic polycarbonate:

• Architecture. Canopies for entrance groups, car parks, city transport stops;
• Construction Glazing of facades, construction of greenhouse complexes, anti-vandal constructions;
• Medicine. Boxes, production of unbreakable containers and vessels;
• Food industry. Production of containers with high temperature resistance indicators;
• Aircraft construction, heavy machinery.

Sheet sizes are:

• 2100mm* 3000mm:
• 2100mm*6000mm;
• 2100mm*12000mm.

It is possible to cut to size on high-precision machines.

The thickness can be from 2 mm to 8 mm, although a thickness of 3 mm is ideal for everyday life (canopy)
