Bitumen primer (primer) IZOFAST 20l

Primer bituminous IZOFAST® – bituminous primer, which consists of modified bitumen and solvent. It has high penetrating ability and short drying time. Bituminous primer is used to increase adhesion to the base during waterproofing of the foundation and roof. Improves the adhesion of bituminous mastics and sealants to the surface.

APPLICATION

The bituminous primer is used as a primer for the surface before application coated on the basis of bitumen;

for preparing (priming) and increasing the adhesion of insulated surfaces (concrete, metal, cement-sand, wooden and other surfaces);
in the conditions of increased operational requirements for the quality of adhesion with the base;
for priming the walls of concrete and asphalt concrete joints covered before pouring IZOFAST® mastics and sealants;
for priming concrete, reinforced concrete, foam concrete, aerated concrete, wooden and metal surfaces;
before applying bitumen, bitumen-rubber, rubber, bitumen-polymer, bitumen-rubber, waterproofing, roofing and polymer mastics;
before the installation of welded and self-adhesive roofing and waterproofing materials.
CONDITIONS OF STORAGE

The bituminous primer is stored in a hermetically sealed manufacturer's container at a temperature of no higher than 30 °C in a ventilated room. Avoid direct sunlight. Keep away from fire.

The shelf life is 24 months. Look at the package for the batch number and production date.

SAFETY MEASURES

The bituminous primer belongs to the group of combustible materials. After drying, the coating is non-toxic.
Work with bituminous primer should be carried out away from sources of fire in well-ventilated rooms or in the open air.

Smoking is prohibited during work. At work
use canvas gloves. First wipe the areas of the skin that got the primer
with a cotton swab soaked in gasoline or white spirit, then wash your hands with soap and water.
It is forbidden to use a bituminous primer in residential premises with poor ventilation.

Adhesion strength with a concrete base is not less than 0.3 MPa (kgf/cm2)
The mass fraction of non-volatile substances is not less than 50-60%
Drying time up to 10 hours
Consumption 0.25-0.5 l/m2
