Product description and scope of use

THERMOWOOL ACOUSTIC 40 is a non-flammable, water-repellent sound-absorbing mineral wool slab based on basalt group rocks. The special arrangement of the fibers provides high sound-absorbing properties.

THERMOWOOL ACOUSTIC 40 boards are recommended for use as sound absorbers in frame-cladding partition and cladding structures, in suspended ceiling structures, as well as in floors with an unloaded insulation material installation scheme.
